Booted Eagle – Hieraaetus pennatus – is a medium sized raptor of the Family Accipitridae, the Order Accipitriformes and the Type – diurnal-raptor. It is a patchy summer migrant with an extensive range across Eurasia from the Maghreb and Portugal to NE Mongolia, except for Central Europe. It winters across India and sub-Saharan Africa.
