Lesser Spotted Eagle – Clanga pomarina – is a large raptor of the Family Accipitridae, Order Accipitriformes and Type – diurnal-raptor. It is a summer migrant in eastern Europe to Ukraine, Turkey, the Caucasus and NW Iran. It winters from southern Sudan down eastern Africa. There is a separate resident population across northern India.
