Abyssinian nightjar – Caprimulgus poliocephalus – or Montane nightjar – is a medium sized Afro/Arabian nightjar of Type – crepuscular, Family Caprimulgidae and Order Caprimulgiformes. It is found in the wooded mountainous areas of NE Africa and SW Arabia. In the AWB Region it is resident in Eritrea, NW Yemen and SW KSA.
