African desert warbler – Curruca deserti – a small resident African passerine of Type – insectivore, Family Sylviidae and Order Passeriformes. It is one of the few birds to call the Sahara Desert – home, but it is resident with some winter movements that extends its range more widely around the desert areas. Its range is centred on Algeria but also extends short distances into all the surrounding countries.
