African palm-swift – Cypsiurus parvus – is a small resident Afro/Arabian swift of Type – aerialist, Family Apodidae and Order Caprimulgiformes. It is widespread over s s Africa and into SW Arabia. In the AWB Region it is found in Mali, Niger, Chad, Sudan, Eritrea, S Somalia, SW KSA, and W Yemen.

Type - aerialist - nests are glued to the underside of palm leaves,
Typical Habitat - oil palm plantations, open country,
