African stonechat – Saxicola torquatus – is a small resident Afro/Arabian passerine of Type – sallyer, Family Muscicapidae and Order Passeriformes. It is resident in s s Africa and SW Arabia. In the AWB Region it is found as resident in limited areas of Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Sudan, SW KSA and W Yemen.
