Alpine accentor – Prunella collaris – is a small resident Eurasian passerine of Type – insectivore, Family Prunellidae and Order Passeriformes. It is found right across Eurasia from Iberia to Japan, Over most of its range it is resident but at the E and W extremities it tends to have a few separate wintering areas. In the AWB Region it is resident in various areas of Turkey, S Caucasus, Iran and N Iraq. In the N Maghreb states it has a complex mixture of resident and wintering areas.
