Anjouan scops-owl – Otus capnodes – is a small resident Comoros owl, of Type – nocturnal-raptor, Family Strigidae and Order Strigiformes. It is Endemic to Anjouan Island in the Comoros group, where it inhabits mature trees on steep slopes in the remnants of devastated highland forests.
