Armenian gull – Larus armenicus – is a large migratory Asian gull of Type – seabird, Family Laridae and Order Charadriiformes. It is found as a patchwork of separate breeding and wintering areas in the S Caucasus and Middle East. In the AWB Region it nests by mountain lakes in Armenia, Georgia, NW Iran, and E & Central Turkey. It also has small separated wintering areas in Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, NE Turkey, Cyprus, Kuwait, NE KSA, S Levant, Sinai and NE Egypt.
