Asian desert warbler – Curruca nana – is a small Asian migratory warbler of Type – insectivore, Family Sylviidae and Order Passeriformes. It is a summer breeder to to the desert and semi-desert areas of Central and E Asia, and migrates in the winter to SW Asia, Arabia and NE Africa. In the AWB Region it is a summer breeder to NE Iran, the whole of Arabia except for the NE areas of the Levant, Syria and NW Iraq. In Africa there are some wintering areas in Central Sudan and the W Coastal strip of the Red Sea from Sinai to Somaliland.
