The Audouin’s gull – Ichthyaetus audouinii is a large Mediterranean resident gull of Type – seabird, Family Laridae and Order Charadriiformes. It is resident to the waters of the Mediterranean and the inshore Atlantic coast of NW Africa. In the AWB Region it is found in the Aegean Sea, off the S coast of Turkey, and around Cyprus, on the NW African coasts it is found along the coasts from NW Libya to Gambia.

Type - seabird - nests on the ground, singly or colonially, 
Summer Habitat - breeds on small islands and islets, in the Mediterranean basin, 
Winter Habitat - more pelagic in the Mediterranean and inshore coastal Atlantic waters, feeds on caught fish,
