Bimaculated lark – Melanocorypha bimaculata – is a large lark of Type – Alaudine, Family Alaudidae and Order Passeriformes. It is found from NE Africa across the Middle East and into Central Asia. In the AWB Region it is a summer breeder to the Levant, Syria, Turkey, the S Caucasus, N Iraq and Iran. It winters in N KSA, the Nile Valley of Egypt and Sudan, Eritrea and Djibouti.

Typical Habitat - open steppes, semi-desert, and rocky desert,
