Black lark – Melanocorypha yeltoniensis – is a large resident/migratory Eurasian lark of Type – alaudine, Family Alaudidae and Order Passeriformes. It is resident in central Asia from SE Russia to E Kazakhstan, in summer it is partially migratory to the N , and in winter migrates to the S and mostly SW. In the AWB Region it winters in S Caucasus, NE Turkey and N Iran.
