Black scrub-robin – Cercotrichas podobe – is a resident African/Arabian chat of Type – sallyer, Family Muscicapidae and Order Passeriformes. It is resident across the Sahel Belt into Eritrea and SW Arabia, and there is a small area of wintering in Djibouti, W Somaliland and E Ethiopia. In Arabia it is resident in S and W Yemen, SW and W KSA and a number of small isolated areas in Central KSA.
