Black wheatear – Oenanthe leucura – is a small resident Afro/European passerine of Type – sallyer, Family Muscicapidae and Order Passeriformes. It is resident around the coastal and mountainous areas of NW Africa from NW Mauritania to NW Libya and on into Iberia. In the AWB Region it is resident in NW Africa as noted above.
