Blyth’s pipit – Anthus godlewskii – is a mid-sized migratory Asian passerine of Type – insectivore, Family Motacillidae and Order Passeriformes. It is a summer breeder to Mongolia and S Siberia, and winters in the Indian sub-continent. At first glance the AWB Region would seem outside of its normal range, but it is on the standard list of the UAE.
