Bohemian waxwing – Bombycilla garrulus – is a starling sized migratory Holarctic passerine of Type – frugivore, Family Bombycillidae and Order Passeriformes. It is a summer breeder to the Northern coniferous forests of America and Eurasia and winters extensively to the South reaching the S Caucasus in the AWB Region. In winter its movements are more nomadic, searching out fruit trees as its main food source.
