Bridled tern

The Bridled tern – Onychoprion anaethetus is a Tropical medium sized migratory tern of Type – seabird, the family Laridae and the Order Charadriiformes. It is found in all the world’s Tropical Oceans where it breeds on rocky islands, outside of the breeding season it disperses more widely to spend its time at sea. In the AWB Region it breeds on the coasts of the Red Sea, the Arabian Peninsular, the Arabian Gulf, Socotra, S Western Sahara, N Mauritania and the Comoros islands. It winters offshore the SW coast of Mauritania.
