Buff-bellied pipit – Anthus rubescens – or American pipit – is a small migratory Asian/American passerine of Type – insectivore, Family Motacillidae and Order Passeriformes. Its summer range extends Eastwards from central Siberia to Greenland, and its winter range extends from Japan to NW India. however the Japanese subspecies appears to be recorded in the AWB Region and the extent on the map is unclear, but it is recorded on the main list of Turkey.
