Chestnut bunting – Emberiza rutila – is a small migratory Asian passerine Type – granivore, Family Emberizidae and order Passeriformes. It is a summer breeder to E Siberia, N Mongolia and NE China, in winter it migrates to S China, SE Asia and NE India. The AWB Region lies outside of its normal range but it is recorded as Accidental in the Levant.
