Citrine wagtail – Motacilla citreola – is a small migratory Eurasian passerine of Type – insectivore, Family Motacillidae and Order Passeriformes. It is a summer breeder over an extensive area of Central Asia and migrates in winter to SW, S and SE Asia. In the AWB Region It is a summer breeder to small isolated areas in E Turkey and NW and NE Iran. There are also separated areas in N, Central and S Iran, and SE Iraq and NE Kuwait where it is a winter visitor.
