Coliidae – Mousebirds+ is a Family of smallish birds with a very long thin tail, it gets its name from its behaviour of scurrying among tree branches like a mouse. They are of Type – arboreal-forager and are in the Order Coliiformes. They are native to s s Africa, and feed on buds, berries and fruit found by scurrying among the upper tree branches. At the moment the Family contains only the subfamily Mousebirds. and the Categories list is a shown below.
