The Diomedeidae – Albatrosses+ is a Family of Southern Oceans, large pelagic birds of Type – seabird and the Order Procellariiformes. They have the largest wingspan of any flying birds and spend most of their time sailing almost effortlessly around the Southern Oceans, and except for the Pacific, they are seldom found in the N Hemisphere, but a few have been recorded as Accidentals in AWB Waters. They are of Type – seabird.
