Eastern Subalpine warbler – Curruca cantillans – is a small migratory passerine of Type – insectivore, Family Sylviidae and Order Passeriformes. It is a summer breeder to SE Europe and W Turkey and winters in the SE end of the Sahara Desert. It has only recently been formed as its own species by splitting the old Subalpine warbler into three separate new species, Eastern and Western subalpine warblers, plus Moltoni’s warbler.
