Eurasian bullfinch – Pyrrhula pyrrhula – is a small migratory/resident Eurasian passerine of Type – granivore, Family Fringillidae and Order Passeriformes. It has an extensive range right across Eurasia, broadly speaking it is a summer breeder in the N, resident in the mid-range and a winter visitor in the S, but all within Temperate latitudes. The AWB Region is at the southern end of its normal range and is resident in N Turkey, NW Iran and the South Caucasus, and is a winter visitor over most of W Turkey.
