Eurasian jackdaw – Corvus monedula – is a small resident/migratory Eurasian crow, Type – ground-forager, Family Corvidae and Order Passeriformes. It is resident from W Europe to SW Asia but in the NE Europe and Central Asia it becomes a migratory summer breeder. In the AWB Region it is resident in Turkey, S Caucasus, Cyprus, N Syria, N Iraq, NW and NE Iran, N and S Levant, in N Africa it is resident in N Morocco and N Algeria;

Typical Habitat - open woodland, farmland, urban settings, coastal and riverine cliffs,
