Eurasian jay – Garrulus glandarius – is a smaller resident Eurasian crow of Type – ground- forager, Family Corvidae and Order Passeriformes. It has a very extensive range over Temperate and semi-tropical areas of Eurasia. In the AWB Region it is resident in Turkey, S Caucasus, Iran, NE Syria, NE Iraq, Cyprus and the Levant, in Africa it is resident in the N Maghreb states.
