Eurasian nutcracker – Nucifraga caryocatactes – or Spotted nutcracker – is a quite large resident Eurasian corvid of Type – ground-forager, Family Corvidae and Order Passeriformes. It has a very extensive Northern range in the Taiga Coniferous forests from W Europe to the Far East. The AWB Region lies outside of its normal range but it is recorded as Accidental in Turkey.
