Eurasian wren – Troglodytes troglodytes – or Northern wren is a very small migratory/resident Eurasian passerine of Type – insectivore, Family Troglodytidae and Order Passeriformes. It has a very extensive range across Eurasia, in N Africa it is resident, but in SW Asia it becomes a mixture of resident and winter visiting areas. In the AWB Region it is a mixture in the Levant, Turkey, S Caucasus, Iraq and N Iran and in the N Maghreb states and N Libya it is resident.
