European robin – Erithacus rubecula – is a migratory/resident Eurasian chat of Type – sallyer, Family Muscicapidae and Order Passeriformes. It is a summer breeder over a wide N/S range from W Europe to W Asia, In W and SW Europe it is resident further E it is migratory, and in winter there is a wintering range to N Africa which borders the resident range. In the AWB Region, it is resident in N Turkey, the S Caucasus, N Iran and the N Maghreb states. It winters in Cyprus, S Turkey, the Levant, Syria, Iraq, Kuwait and NE KSA. In Africa it is found all along the N Coastal areas from S Morocco to Sinai.
