Forest wagtail – Dendronanthus indicus – is a medium-sized migratory Asian passerine of Type – insectivore, Family Motacillidae and Order Passeriformes. It is a summer breeder to Far E Asia and in winter migrates to SE Asia and to a lesser extent to the SW and S of the Indian sub-continent and Sri Lanka. The AWB Region lies outside of its normal range but it is recorded as Accidental in UAE. It is the only member of the Genus Dendronanthus.
