Grey-necked bunting – Emberiza buchanani – is a small migratory Asian passerine of Type – granivore, Family Emberizidae and Order Passeriformes. It is a summer breeder from SW to Central Asia and winters in the Indian sub-continent. In the AWB Region it is a summer breeder to N and NW Iran, the S Caucasus, E Turkey and NE Iraq.
