Hooded wheatear – Oenanthe monacha – is a resident Afro-Asian wheatear of Type – sallyer, Family Muscicapidae and Order Passeriformes. It is found from Egypt to Pakistan. In the AWB Region it is resident in NE Egypt, Sinai, S Levant, NW KSA, and Central KSA, and small areas of UAE and Oman. Its main population area is in Iran.
