House bunting – Emberiza sahari – is a small resident African passerine of Type – granivore, Family Emberizidae and Order Passeriformes. It is resident over large parts of the arid Sahara Desert area of N Africa. In the AWB Region it is found in a patchwork of separate areas in the Maghreb states, Libya, Chad, Mali, Niger and Mauritania.
