The Iceland gull – Larus glaucoides is a medium sized Arctic gull of Type – seabird, Family Laridae and Order Charadriiformes. It is a summer breeder to Arctic Canada and Greenland, and in winter migrates S to Iceland and NW Europe. The AWB Region lies to the S of this normal range, but it has been reported as Accidental in Morocco.

Type - seabird - breeds alone or in small colonies, in a vegetation lined ground nest
Summer Habitat - Arctic coastal areas and cliffs, 
Winter Habitat - NW European close inshore waters, on land lakes, landfills, sewage farms, fish cleaning waste areas,
