Lappet-faced Vulture

Lappet-faced vulture (Torgos tracheliotos), is a very large vulture of the Family Accipitridae. It is sporadically distributed over much of Africa and the more mountainous regions of southern Arabia. In the AWB Region it occurs in the Sahel and Savannah areas of sub Saharan Africa and in western Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman and the UAE.
