Little swift

The Little swift – Apus affinis is a small species of the Type – aerial bird family Apodidae. It is present across Africa, The Middle East and the Indian sub-continent. In the AWB Region it is a summer breeder in the Maghreb states, The Levant, SE Turkey, N Syria, NW to SE Iran, NE Iran and N UAE and N Oman. Its resident and presumably its wintering range also is sub-Saharan Africa from The Sahel southwards and includes the SW Corner of Arabia.

Habitat - rocky cliffs, urban buildings,
