The Long-billed dowitcher – Limnodromus scolopaceus is a migratory medium sized wader of the family Scolopacidae. It is a summer breeder to the Tundra of far Eastern Siberia, Alaska and NW Canada, and migrates in the winter mainly to Central America and the coasts of the Gulf of Mexico, but the most westerly breeders winter in S Japan and Taiwan. It is only an Accidental to the AWB Region.
