Long-tailed jaeger

The Long-tailed jaeger – Stercorarius longicaudus is a Holarctic migratory medium sized species of Type – seabird (but smallest skua) of the Family Stercorariidae and the Order Charadriiformes. It is a summer breeder to the High Arctic Tundra of the whole Holarctic Region, and migrates to spend its winter on the high seas of the Southern Oceans. In the AWB Region it is found on Passage offshore of the Atlantic coasts of NW Africa, but also is recorded as an Accidental in UAE and Oman waters.

Type - seabird - nests on dry ground,
Summer Habitat - breeds in the Holarctic High Arctic, on Tundra and high fells, 
Winter Habitat - winters at sea in the southern oceans, and extensively on passage,
