Long-tailed jaeger

The Long-tailed jaeger – Stercorarius longicaudus is a migratory medium sized seabird (but smallest skua) of the Family Stercorariidae. It is a summer breeder to the High Arctic Tundra of the whole Holarctic Region, and migrates to spend its winter on the high seas of the Southern Oceans. In the AWB Region it is found on Passage offshore of the Atlantic coasts of NW Africa, but also is recorded as an Accidental in UAE and Oman waters.
