Long-tailed shrike – Lanius schach – is an Asian species of Type – sallyer, the Family Lanius and Order Passeriformes. It is found across S and SE Asia where it is typically resident but is migratory in the N and particularly the NW of its range. The AWB Region is out of its normal range but it is recorded as Accidental in the UAE.
