Long-tailed tit – Aegithalos caudatus – is a small resident Eurasian passerine of Type – tit-like, Family Aegithalidae and Order Passeriformes. It is found right across Temperate Eurasia, it shows little winter movement outside of its normal range. In the AWB Region it is resident in coastal areas of Turkey, the S Caucasus and into N Iran, in addition there is a separate resident area extending along the mountain range SE well into Iran from SE Turkey.
