The Macqueen's bustard (Chlamydotis macqueenii ) is a large
ground bird species of the family Otididae. It is resident
from Sinai, The Levant, E Syria, Iraq, Iran and The Arabian
Peninsular. It is a summer breeder from East of the Caspian
Sea to Mongolia, from which there are two wintering ranges,
one in Central N China, and the other mainly just outside the
AWB Region in Afghanistan, Pakistan and into NW India.
