Madagascar bee-eater – Merops superciliosus – or – Olive bee-eater – is a medium sized migratory/resident African bee-eater, of Type – sallyer, Family Meropidae and Order Coraciiformes. It has three populations, one resident in Angola, one resident in Madagascar and various small isolated coastal areas of Eastern Africa, and the third, a summer breeder to the Horn of Africa region and winters in Eastern Africa down to Mozambique. In the AWB Region it is found as a breeder in Eritrea, Djibouti, Somaliland, S Somalia and resident in Comoros.
