Maghreb magpie – Pica mauritanica – is very similar to the common Eurasian magpie. It is of Type – ground-forager, Family Corvidae, Order Passeriformes, and is found as resident in NW Africa. In the AWB Region it is resident in the N of the Maghreb states and into NW Western Sahara.
