Marsh warbler – Acrocephalus palustris – is a mid-sized migratory warbler of Type – insectivore, Family Acrocephalidae and Order Passeriformes. It is a summer breeder from W Europe to the Urals, and migrates in the winter to SE Africa. In the AWB Region it is a summer breeder to Turkey, S Caucasus and NW Iran and is found on passage across most Middle East countries to its wintering area in SE Africa.

Summer Habitat - mostly damp well vegetated marshy areas, and ditches, 
Winter Habitat - well vegetated dry areas,
