Mediterranean short-toed lark – Alaudala rufescens – is a small resident Afro/European passerine of Type – Alaudine, Family Alaudidae and Order Passeriformes. It is resident in Iberia and N African coastal areas. In the AWB Region it is found as mostly resident with small winter movements from NW Mauritania to E Egypt.
