Moltoni’s warbler – Curruca subalpina – is a small migratory Euro/African passerine of Type – insectivore, Family Sylviidae and Order Passeriformes. It is a summer breeder to S Europe, namely NW Italy, Corsica, Sardinia and a few other small islands. In winter it migrates to NW Africa. In the AWB Region it is a winter visitor to areas of the Sahara in SE Morocco, NW and SE Algeria and a small area of SW Libya. In the S of Mauritania, Mali and Niger, the wintering areas merge into the Sahel Belt further S.
