Nubian bustard – Neotis nuba – is a medium/large resident African bustard, of Type – landfowl, Family Otididae and Order Otidiformes. It is native to the Northern edge of the Sahel Belt stretching from coast to coast across N Africa, In the AWB Region it is found as resident in Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Chad and Sudan.
