The Oceanitidae – Southern storm-petrels are the smallest Seabirds with a fluttering sometimes hovering flight where they feed on small fish and planktonic crustaceans at the surface. They are related to the the larger Petrels and are pelagic across the Southern Hemisphere Oceans but with only the Wilson’s storm-petrel found in the Northern Hemisphere and the main AWB Region. They are in the Order Phaethontiformes.
