Olive-backed pipit – Anthus hodgsoni – is a small migratory Eurasian passerine of Type – insectivore, Family Motacillidae and Order Passeriformes. It has a very extensive summer breeding range, extending over much of the boreal forested areas of Asia and into NE European Russia, it winters in S and SE Asia. The AWB Region is outside of its normal range but it is recorded as Accidental in the UAE.
